Rama: Maybe the election of Trump will be good for Europe

The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, said that the victory of Donald Trump in the presidential elections in the United States of America can be something good for Europe.

Before the summit of the European political community in Budapest, Rama said that even in Trump’s first term, they said that NATO would weaken, but, according to him, it has become stronger.

– I think there was a lot of excitement, maybe not in the right way, about the possible return of Trump. When he was president in his first term, everyone said that NATO would weaken, but it got stronger. Let’s see. The US is the US, that doesn’t mean it’s bad for Europe, maybe it can be something good for Europe. What is happening in the USA should not be seen as a concern for us – said Rama.
