JLR has prepared a special edition Range Rover for the Indian market only, with the series limited to just 12 units.
The Range Rover SV Ranthambore Edition is named after the Ranthambore National Park, which plays an important role in tiger conservation. The model is a creation of Range Rover’s SV Bespoke division and is based on a long-wheelbase body.
The exterior is painted in Deep Black, with a “red shimmer effect”. This is combined with Corinthian Bronze accents (bonnet, bumpers, side gills, mirror caps, tailgate and badges) and several Anthracite inserts, designed to look like tiger stripes.
The special Range Rover also received a set of 23-inch aluminum wheels in dark gray with Corinthian Bronze inserts.
The interior combines Caraway and Perlino leather, with chrome details and numbered Ranthambore Edition side sills.
The SV Bespoke department also added special edition rear seat cushions, along with unique stitching on the seatbacks. Another addition is an electric rear passenger table with cup holders and a small refrigerator.
Under the hood is a standard 3.0-liter six-cylinder turbo engine with 293 kW/398 hp and 550 Nm of torque.
The news did not specify the price of the Range Rover SV Ranthambore Edition, but the manufacturer has pledged to offer a portion of the profits to the Wildlife Trust of India.
