The Range Rover revolutionized the market the moment it was launched on the market. Half a century later, the luxury SUV represents an important peak model for the British manufacturer.
Land Rover is known all over the world for its models and their off-road capability. We are talking about the Defender or the Discovery, but also about the Range Rover, the top of the British range, an SUV that combines the best the manufacturer has to offer in terms of comfort, technology and performance.
The newest generation Range Rover is easily recognizable, keeping many details from the already established design. The square silhouette has been refined, and the angled panels with rounded and flowing surfaces give the car a modern and sophisticated look.
The new Range Rover – bigger, stronger, more efficient
The Range Rover measures 5.25 meters in length and offers a generous wheelbase of almost 3.2 meters, making it a real limousine among SUVs. The interior is finished with the best materials Land Rover has to offer: leather, aluminum and wood, at least in this configuration. Customers can choose from numerous material and color combinations to create a car that suits their taste.
Such a high-class SUV also needs a propellant to match, and the range of engines equipping the Range Rover is very varied. customers they can choose diesel, gasoline, and hybrid engineswith an electric version to join the range soon.
The car in our presentation is a Range Rover P460e, which means we’re dealing with a plug-in hybrid that uses an inline six-cylinder petrol engine assisted by an electric motor. The total power of the system reaches 460 HP and 660 Nm, and the 31.8 kWh battery (net capacity) can ensure a maximum autonomy of up to 120 km (WLTP).
Thus, in this hybrid version, the Range Rover is not only a luxury SUV, but also a sufficiently efficient car, even for urban commuting.
