Domestic. After soccer star Kylian Mbappé’s visit to Stockholm last week, the police are now investigating a suspected rape, reports The evening paper.
The crime must have taken place on Thursday in central Stockholm, according to information given to Aftonbladet. A report was received by the police on Saturday after a woman sought treatment.
Mbappé and his party visited, among other things, the restaurant Chez Jolie and the nightclub V on Stureplan during their stay.
The police and technicians were on Monday at the hotel where the party was staying to carry out investigations.
Mbappé left Sweden on Friday, i.e. before the report was received.
It is unclear whether it is a real rape or voluntary intercourse that still constitutes rape according to Swedish legislation.
The prosecutor leading the investigation declines to comment further on the case, and no one has yet been charged with suspicion, according to Aftonbladet.
Kylian Mbappé himself comments on the news in a post on X, calling it all “fake news”.
