Raspberry Pi has announced a number of new features, including an AI camera and AI HAT+

Raspberry Pi has been releasing a number of interesting new products in recent weeks. This week’s multipurpose computer got both its own storage and accessories in the form of artificial intelligence accelerators.

One of the first novelties was a set with an AI camera that uses a Sony IMX500 sensor. It has built-in computing power for various neural network models. The company also presented its own monitor with an HDMI connector, 1080p resolution and 60 Hz refresh rate, its own speakers and a jack input. These innovations were shown at the Embedded World 2024 conference together with the M.2 HAT.

But after the conference Raspberry Pi it is not over and continues with news. The company introduced its own SD cards, the specifications of which you can see below.

Furthermore, there was also the announcement of our own M.2 SSD drives, the whirlwind of news ends with AI HAT+. It uses Hailo-8 accelerators for neural networks that are embedded directly on the board. A total of two variants are divided according to performance, the customer can choose either 13 or 26 TOPS.
