Velvet for gamer ears

If you play online a lot, especially competitive games, you know that communicating with your teammates is essential to progress. With the Logitech G PRO X 2 Lightspeed headset and its removable microphone, you will be able to do both in conditions fit for a king (or queen).

By taking the design of the first G PRO X Lightspeed, Logitech is not taking too many risks and in a way, it’s a good thing, because the formula was almost perfect. You find a metal headband covered in foam and stitched imitation leather. It has a large adjustment range to adapt to all body shapes and weighs less on the head: 345 g compared to 370 g for the first version.

You benefit from ear cups that can rotate 90°, a big new feature of this version, to wear the headset around your neck without difficulty, or to place it flat on the desk.

Advanced customization with G Hub

Of course, to talk with the headset, you need a microphone: the one on the G PRO X 2 Lightspeed is a removable flexible rod that you can remove whenever you want. If you don’t need it and it gets in the way of your field of vision, simply remove the jack plug and replace the small rubber cover so that dust doesn’t get in.

By the way, another new feature and not the least on this model: the headset offers triple connectivity, with its USB dongle equipped with a jack port to connect another source. For example, you can connect your headset to your PS5 controller and connect your smartphone or tablet with a jack to listen to music over it.

The headset can be adjusted in all directions with the G Hub software on the PC. Equalizer, acoustics, surround sound, microphone, effects: it’s super complete, but it requires spending a little time to find the settings that suit you.
