DAPURPACUID – Marc Marquez again won the main podium for Federal Oil as the main sponsor of the Gresini Racing team, in the Australian MotoGP continuation series last weekend.

After the race and the third podium victory for this season, Marc explained that achieving the podium this time was able to increase his confidence in the final three series of MotoGP 2024.
“I had to remove one tear-off section at the start because it had a big fly on it, which prevented me from seeing what was in front of me and then you all saw what happened.”
“From then on, we had the pace to fight for second place: I tried it and when I got close to Jorge, I realized there was a possibility to win,” explained Marc.
Meanwhile, Alex Marquez had to experience an incident at the start which forced him to be in the back position, including having to take a long lap penalty.
In these conditions, it was claimed that he was hit by another racer at the first corner, which practically caused his position to drop to last place. Then overtook two riders before taking a long-lap penalty and returning to last position again.
“We picked up a point and are excited to be back in action in Thailand and Malaysia. “We struggled a bit in the last few races and now it’s time to keep trying to finish the season with the best feeling,” he said.
