Reaction to CENTCOM’s Yom Kippur post: Which country’s power are you?

CENTCOM shared a post on social media platform X with the Shofar instrument made of ram’s horn, which Jews consider sacred.

Thousands of people commented under the post and criticized the US support for Israel. While some X users considered CENTCOM’s post as “betrayal”, famous American actor and producer Kevin Sorbo said, “My sons will not die in a foreign war.” he said.

“WHICH COUNTRY ARE YOU THE POWER OF?”

Some people who oppose supporting Israel with the taxes of the US people asked CENTCOM, “I’m sorry. Which country’s power are you?” posed the question.

Some users condemned Israel’s genocide in Gaza and called on the United States not to be a part of these crimes.

Yom Kippur, considered the most important holy holiday in Judaism, is known as a day when those who want to be forgiven fast and pray in synagogues.
