Ready-to-use stucco –

Ready-to-use paste stucco does not require mixing like powder stucco and its application is very simple, even for those who are not experts.

Ready-made stucco or powdered stucco?

Until now, there were two types of grout or sealant for joints between tiles: cement-based and epoxy-based.
Cement-based grouts require careful preparation of the mix, with the right mixing ratio between the cement sealant and the water.

When preparing to fill a surface, it is important to know that excessive quantities of water in the mixture lower the mechanical characteristics of the hardened product and can create chromatic variations in the filler.

This problem does not arise in the case of epoxy fillerswhich are pre-dosed two-component chemical compounds, to be mixed with a drill at the time of use. However, they require knowledge of specific technical times for laying which, if not respected, can make the cleaning phase less simple.
When using it tile groutfor both cement and epoxy grouting, any stains left on the tiles can be eliminated after 24 hours with a specific detergent, using felt and a sponge.

The grout or sealant for joints between tiles, whether cement or epoxy, is already colored and is available in a wide range of colors. In some cases, gold or silver glitter can be added to the epoxy.

There is a third and innovative formulation of joint filler: the polyurethane paste ready for use which, not being in powder form like the cementitious one, or two-component like the epoxy one, does not require adequate mixing.

This feature also makes the product particularly suitable for grouting joints between tiles wood effect ceramics which present superficial roughness.

Made of polyurethane resins in aqueous dispersion, the material is very stable to light and therefore resists yellowing or chromatic variations under the effect of solar rays, thanks to Litokol’s UV Resistant technology. The fillers are also water-repellent and make FillGood Evo a waterproof stucco capable of creating water-repellent joints whose width can vary from 1 to 6 mm.
