Real Madrid suffered a big blow before the derby

As we reported, Real Madrid completed another task, beating Alaves 3-2 in the 7th round of La Liga on Tuesday. True to his good habit, Kylian Mbappé also scored the opponent’s goal, so the royal guard can boast six goals in the last five matches.

The French striker will therefore take an active part in the victories of the Spanish star team, but Carlo Ancelotti cannot count on him in the most difficult meeting of the season so far. Mbappé asked to be replaced in the match against Aláves, and the Italian coach was not worried about him after the blow.

“It’s okay, he just felt a little pain.” Precautionary replacement requested – Ancelotti revealed.

Since then, however, it has turned out that the problem is bigger than Real’s head coach thought. Mbappé had problems with his hamstrings, and based on the tests, they expect in Madrid that he will be out of action for three weeks. Ancelotti initially believed that the 25-year-old striker would be available for Sunday’s derby against Atlético (9 p.m.), but as it turned out, Mbappé will definitely miss the match, as will David Alaba, Brahim Díaz and Dani Ceballos, while Eduardo Camavinga’s game is questionable.
