Reality contestant traveled away from violent nightmare but was sought out and beaten

It was apparently impossible for a female reality show contestant to escape a nine-month-long nightmare of violence.

This appears when the 27-year-old woman gives evidence in the case against a 21-year-old man in the court in Aarhus on Tuesday.

He is accused of repeatedly subjecting the woman to serious violence and trying to kill her.

The woman, who has long, dark hair and is wearing an orange blouse, had, according to her own statement, a “chaotic” relationship with the man in 2023.

According to the woman, the relationship was marked by violence and culminated when the woman had a loaded gun put to her forehead in an apartment in Tilst near Aarhus.

Before it got that far, the woman tried several times to end the relationship, she explains.

Among other things, she traveled with two friends to Alanya in Turkey. It happened immediately after she had broken up with the man, she explains.

But out of the blue, the man suddenly appeared while she was sitting in a restaurant.

He approached from behind and grabbed her by the neck, explains the woman, who nervously shakes her feet in court.

– Do you think you can go down here and I can’t find you, the man is said to have said, according to the aggrieved party.

That same evening, she agreed to have sex with the man, she explains. But it didn’t take many minutes from the time the act was over until the mood changed, she says:

– He gets these black, dark eyes, sat on top of me and punched me three or four times in the face. My jaw split, says the woman.

Despite the turbulent relationship, the woman ended up moving with the man, first in Nørre Snede, then in Tilst.

But the relationship went from bad to worse, she reports.

According to the prosecution, it ended with attempted murder when the man held a 9 mm pistol to the woman’s forehead and fired.

The gun allegedly jammed and no shots were fired.

The 21-year-old man with dark hair and a black Hugo Boss shirt is in court behind his defense lawyer and with a prison officer next to him.

On the first day of the trial, the defendant admitted to several incidents of violence against the woman, but he pleads not guilty to the charges of attempted murder, possession of a weapon and threats.

The prosecution is demanding that the man be sentenced to detention – confinement for an indefinite period.

A verdict in the case is expected on November 11.
