Realme is characterized by more affordable phones and tablets that excel in the price / performance ratio. This Chinese manufacturer broke into the tablet segment a little later, and the novelty in the form of the Pad 2 Lite model is a lightweight version of the original Pad 2 model from last year. So let’s introduce this tablet in a little more detail.
Realme Pad 2 Lite is simple and elegant
The Realme Pad 2 Lite tablet impresses at first glance with its elegant appearance, which combines a flat frame with a back that is treated with artificial leather. It comes in two shades and purely in terms of design, the Pad 2 Lite doesn’t look bad at all. The construction is otherwise completely plastic, and the circular photo module on the back hides the camera with a resolution of 8 Mpx.

The front of this new product is occupied by a 10.5-inch IPS display with a FullHD resolution and a frequency of 90 Hz. The maximum brightness can go up to 450 nits, which is not great, but considering the price, it is more or less okay. And this also applies to the Helio G99 octa-core processor. His best years are already behind him, but he will work his way up.
The operating memory can have, depending on the version, 4 or 8 GB of RAM and the internal storage, which can be expanded using a microSD memory card, offers a size of 128 GB. The main camera has a resolution of 8 Mpx, the selfie camera is 5 Mpx and the battery with a capacity of 8300 mAh should provide superior durability. The battery complements charging with a power of 15 W.
Price and availability
The new Realme Pad 2 Lite tablet will go on sale in the coming weeks in India. It is likely that it will also reach other markets from there, and we will see if it will make its way to our region as well. The base version with 4 + 128 GB memory will cost 14,999 rupees (4,000 crowns without VAT) and the top model with 8 + 128 GB memory costs 16,999 rupees (4,600 crowns without VAT).
