Crvena zvezda volleyball players failed to advance to the third round of qualification for the Champions League, as they were defeated tonight by Orion Dutichem with a score of 3:0 (25:20, 25:20, 25:19), in the return match of the second round of qualification.
The most effective among Zvezda was Aleksandar Gmitrović with 11 points.
In the Orion team, Maksim Škredu was the best with 10 points. The champion of Serbia also lost in the return match, in the first match in the Netherlands it was 3:0 for Orion (26:24, 25:20, 25:20).
Crvena zvezda will continue the competition in the CEV Cup, where its opponent will be Switzerland’s Amrisville.
Orion will play against the winner of the two-match tie between Tirol Innsbruck and Mladosta Zagreb in the third round of qualification for the LŠ.
