Redmi is preparing to launch the K80 and K80 Pro smartphones in China on November 27. The brand confirmed today that the Pro phone in the series will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and the gaming-focused D1 discrete graphics chip.
An independent test by Digital Chat Station revealed the phone’s benchmark and gaming performance.
As you can see, the phone scores a Geekbench score of 3000 for single-core and 9200 for multi-core, placing the K80 Pro among the high performers. The Steel Nomad Light benchmark, which measures the phone’s graphics performance, records an equally impressive graphics score of 2440.
On the gaming side, in the demanding “Genshin Impact” full high-resolution test, the K80 Pro demonstrated a smooth performance of 59.9 frames per second (FPS) and managed to keep power consumption at a very low level of only 4.22 watts.
Similar results were observed in other popular games – “Honkai Impact 3rd” achieved an average of 121.2 FPS with super frame mode and 3.58 watts of power consumption. Even on “Honor of Kings” with extreme image quality settings, the K80 Pro maintained 120 FPS while consuming only 3 watts.
Additionally, the source reveals that the phone has a 5400 mm² 3D dual-loop cooling system for efficient heat dissipation and high performance under heavy load.
