Redmi K80 Pro’s Powerful Processor Revealed

Last month, Xiaomi introduced Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro phones equipped with Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset in China. On November 27, its sub-brand Redmi will introduce the Redmi K80 series for the Chinese market. Today, the brand released the image below to confirm the chipset of the Redmi K80 Pro.

Redmi K80 Pro has a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and a gaming-focused D1 discrete graphics chip. This powerful combination delivers an impressive AnTuTu benchmark score of 3,194,766, highlighting its outstanding performance capabilities.

The Dimensity 9300 Plus-powered Redmi K70 Ultra, launched in China a few months ago, was the first phone with a D1 graphics chip. Along with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and D1 processor, the K80 Pro features Gaming Engine 4.0, which supports 2K super resolution and 120fps super frame synchronization for all games.

The Redmi K80 series will come with a CSOT 2K M9 flat screen with a maximum brightness of 1800 nits, thus increasing outdoor visibility and reducing power consumption by 20.3%, making it both bright and energy efficient. Additionally, the series features hardware-level DC dimming and circular polarization technology to alleviate eye fatigue, along with the AON Smart Eye Protection feature that monitors user eye behavior using the front camera and provides appropriate reminders.
