The new Redmi Note 14 series has arrived
Xiaomi introduced its new flagship line yesterday 14T and it didn’t just stay with her. Yesterday we saw the new Note 14 series from the Redmi brand, which falls under Xiaomi and these are phones that will be very important for the Chinese manufacturer. Redmi Note are hugely popular in almost every generation, and it is very likely that this year will be no different.

The basic Note 14 model boasts quite interesting equipment and is based on the previous generation in terms of design. So on the back there is a square photo module with rounded corners, which contains two sensors and an LED flash. The construction is plastic, the fingerprint reader is located in the side button and the phone has increased resistance according to the IP64 standard.

A solid foundation with good equipment
The main star of the Redmi Note 14 is definitely the OLED display with a diagonal of 6.67 inches, a frequency of 120 Hz and a very decent brightness of up to 2100 nits. The drive is handled by the Dimensity 7050 Ultra 5G processor, which offers solid performance and the main camera with a resolution of 50 Mpx is optically stabilized. The battery has an above-average capacity of 5110 mAh, and charging with a power of 45 W is also solid.

The Redmi Note 14 goes on sale these days, for now in China, with global markets arriving (like other phones in the range) at a later date. The basic model (6 + 128 GB) will cost 1,199 yuan (3,860 crowns without VAT), and the top model with a combination of 12 + 256 GB will cost 1,699 yuan (5,470 crowns without VAT).

The intermediate version with the traditional nickname Pro is already betting on a revised design with a more prominent, circular photo module, which is located in the middle of the back. The main advantage of this new product is the increased IP68/IP69K resistance, which makes it one of the most durable phones in its class. It should be able to withstand a fall onto a hard surface from a height of up to 1.8 meters or immersion in water for up to 24 hours.

A fair bit better
The Pro version boasts a rounded display with a higher resolution and brightness (up to 3000 nits), an integrated fingerprint reader and also offers a more powerful processor in the form of the Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset. In addition, the camera has an ultra-wide-angle lens with an 8 Mpx sensor, and the battery received a higher capacity of 5500 mAh. Charging with a power of 45 W then remained the same.
Price and availability
The Redmi Note 14 Pro is already a little more expensive than the basic version, but it is still a very affordable model. The basic variant (8 + 128 GB) will cost 1,399 yuan (4,490 crowns without VAT) in China, and the highest specification with 12 + 512 GB memory costs 1,899 yuan (6,100 crowns).

The best in the end. The top model with the designation Pro+ is based on the design of the middle version Pro, but has a slightly different looking photo module. The latter has the same shape, but the individual lenses are not exposed and are placed under the cover glass. Overall, the Pro+ version looks a bit sleeker and is definitely the most elegant model in this new range.

The telephoto lens takes the floor
The Pro+ version is very similar to the more affordable Pro specification and offers, for example, the same display or increased resistance according to the IP68/IP69K standard. But it has a different processor (Snapdragon 7s Gen 3) and most importantly, a camera with a telephoto lens that offers 2.5x optical zoom. It’s the first time ever that a camera capable of optical zoom has made its way into Redmi’s Note series.
Price and availability
Finally, we will mention that all new phones in the Note 14 series run on the HyperOS system, which is built on Android. The flagship model will be released in the basic configuration (12 + 256 GB) for 1,999 yuan (6,430 crowns without VAT), and for the model with 16 + 512 GB memory, those interested must prepare 2,299 yuan (7,390 crowns without VAT).
