At a special party in Belgrade, two new models of the CUPRA brand were presented. In a pleasant environment with strong emotions, the attendees had the opportunity to get to know the new Formentor and CUPRA Leon models, which come to continue and build on the success of their predecessors.
The general director of Porsche Serbia and Montenegro, Miloš Vujanović, addressed the audience:
“The main reason why we have gathered tonight is that we have the opportunity to present to you two extremely important models for the CUPRA brand: Formentor and CUPRA Leon. Both models are the basis and future of our youngest brand.
Tonight you will see a significant step forward, not only in design, but also in the application of the most modern technologies. Formentor, as the first model designed for the CUPRA brand, in a very short time became not only the best-selling CUPRA model in Serbia, but also the best-selling model in the Crossover SUV segment in Europe. As for the “king” – Leon, tonight you have the opportunity to make sure that it is a car with 100% CUPRA genes.”
CUPRA Leon was launched for the first time in 2020 with the CUPRA logo. This model played a key role in the expansion of the brand. Soon, its crossover version called Formentor was presented, intended for those who prefer aesthetics with increased ground clearance.
“Design is the number one reason why people choose CUPRA vehicles and the reason why our customers are, on average, 10 to 15 years younger than the competition’s customers. In addition to design, another key pillar of the CUPRA brand is performance and user experience. A certain number of vehicles are ready for quick delivery, and in cooperation with our partners from the Porsche Financial Group, we have prepared attractive financing offers. The initial price of the Formentor model is from 34,900 euros for the version with 150 horsepower and automatic DSG gearbox, while the price for the CUPRA Leon starts from 31,000 euros, said Dragan Prljinčević, director of the CUPRA brand.
