A father and a two-month-old girl were enjoying their time on the beach. At one point, however, stones began to fall.

On Thursday afternoon, a huge tragedy occurred on the Spanish island of Formentera. As reported by the portal with reference to several foreign sources tn.cza father with a two-month-old daughter were sunbathing on Es Copinyar beach.
When the father reached up for the pacifier, huge rocks were released from the slope, one of which fell directly on the child.
Lifeguards, police, firemen and bystanders tried to help.
He succumbed to his injuries
Rescuers airlifted the child to a hospital in Ibiza. Despite great efforts, the little girl could not be saved.
The father was only slightly injured. The girl’s mother was playing with another child nearby at the time of the tragedy.
The case is now being investigated by the police. The authorities closed the area to prevent any further accidents.
