Renault Master was named Van of the Year 2025

The new Renault Master wins the title of Van of the Year 2025, awarded by the “International Van Of The Year” jury.

The Renault Master was awarded the award at the International Van Of The Year 2025 (IVOTY) ceremony held at IAA Transportation in Hanover on 16 September. It was unanimously chosen by a group of experts from 25 European countries.

“The IVOTY jury was impressed by the completely new design and the high level of innovation and technology developed for the new Master range, which comes with advanced aerodynamics, increased usability, but also increased efficiency, space, safety and comfort. Plus the fact that its new modular platform can accommodate diesel, electric and hydrogen powertrains. All attributes ticked the criteria in the award program. Prepared for the future. Congratulations to the Renault Light Commercial Vehicle division for this well-deserved success,” said Jarlath Sweeney, Chairman, International Van of the Year Award jury.

“This is a wonderful reward and a real tribute to all the teams who worked on this project. The new Renault Master is the fifth van from the brand to win this important title, following Renault Master II (IVOTY 1998), Renault Trafic II (IVOTY 2002), Kangoo ZE (IVOTY 2012) and Kangoo Van III (IVOTY 2022).

After the electric Renault Scenic E-Tech was voted Car of the Year in February, Renault now achieves a double with the titles of ‘Car of the Year’ and ‘Van of the Year’.

The last time the brand won awards in the same year in both categories was 27 years ago with the Renault Scenic I and Master II.
