One moment nothing is formally known about the facelifted Tesla Model Y and the next moment things suddenly move very quickly. Less than a week ago, the updated Model Y was digitally presented in China and now the European one appears to be on its way. In fact, as of today, new Model Ys can already be found several hundred kilometers outside our national borders. In Germany, production of the facelifted Model Y started today (Tuesday). This is reported by the usually well-informed Handelsblatt. According to that medium, Tesla announced the start of production on Monday to its employees in the Gigafactory near Berlin. Now that the updated Model Y is rolling off the production line, the European introduction may not be far away. Anyone who doesn’t like the facelift at all, but wants a Model Y, better act quickly. Or you should be willing to gamble that prices will drop a bit before that happens. That wouldn’t be the first time.
