Residents of the Kursk region who returned to Russia told what happened to them in Ukraine and how they were treated there. They were taken there during the Ukrainian Armed Forces invasion. According to people, they were placed in a two-story building in the Sumy region, from where they were practically not allowed out. They stayed there from several weeks to several months, and the men were interrogated by security forces. The Russians note that, despite the security of the facility and sidelong glances, they were treated normally and fed regularly. 46 people returned to the Russian Federation, including thanks to the efforts of the Red Cross and Ombudsman Tatyana Moskalkova.
