Many of us have a PS2 in our room, but how much do we still remember this console from Sony?
Although Sony has since released the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and even the PlayStation 5, the PlayStation 2 remains the manufacturer’s most successful console, which not only topped the domestic market, but also the market as a whole in terms of the number of copies sold. It eclipsed everything Nintendo, Xbox or Sega had ever released.
It’s no wonder that an entire generation of gamers became emotionally attached to it, and it’s very likely that this bond has survived to this day, determining their subsequent console choices.
