In the 9th week of THY Euroleague, Anadolu Efes beat Baskonia 89-84 away.
The dark blue and whites closed the first quarter ahead 24-21 and the first half ahead 46-39. Host Baskonia closed the third quarter ahead 24-19 and reduced the difference to 2 (63-65) before entering the last quarter. Even though there were sequences where the Spanish representative took the lead in the last quarter, Anadolu Efes did not allow defeat and won the match 89-84.
Istanbul team achieved its 5th victory in THY Euroleague. Baskonia suffered its 5th defeat.
In Anadolu Efes’ victory, Elijah Bryant played with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists, while Darius Thompson contributed with 18 points and 4 assists.
