Revolut is preparing for 2025 with an AI assistant, its own ATMs and credit services
Revolut, the fintech company founded in 2015, which primarily provides online banking services, has reached an important milestone, as it already has more than 50 million customers worldwide. Growth accelerated spectacularly this year, as 10 million people registered new Revolut accounts this year alone. And there could hardly have been a better time for the company to announce it plans for 2025.
Revolut is preparing to turbocharge its mobile application with an AI-based assistant, install its own ATMs, and introduce new types of credit services. These will not be available at the same time everywhere the company is present, but in carefully selected markets, customers will first encounter the mentioned novelties.
According to Revolut’s promise, the AI assistant will be able to adapt to the needs of customers, support them in making better financial decisions, develop smarter spending habits, and even make administration easier. It will be introduced gradually, with continuous development.
Meanwhile, the installation of Revolut ATMs will begin in early 2025, and the company has chosen Spain. Initially, their function is limited to issuing cash and cards, but in the longer term, the company wants to make it suitable for cash payments as well, the security of which will be ensured by identification with a facial recognition system.
Finally, the company will offer its customers fully digital mortgages first in Lithuania, then in Ireland and France. The goal is to make it the fastest on the market, so much so that the final offer is ready within one business day after the evaluation and necessary checks have been completed. Revolut strives to build a comprehensive range of loans, of which the new product will be a part, but it is also examining the possibility of overdrafts.
