RGZ received recognition for improving real estate appraisal standards

At the prestigious annual conference of the International Association of Appraisers (IAAO), held from August 25 to 28 in Denver, USA, the Republic Geodetic Institute (RGZ) received special recognition for its outstanding contribution to international work and the development of the application of standards in the field of mass real estate valuation.

IAAO President Rebecca Malmkvist presented the award, stressing that RGZ shares the same values ​​as this global association, which promotes fair and transparent real estate valuation. She pointed out that it is a special pleasure to establish cooperation with an institution like RGZ, which has dedicated itself to achieving high standards in this area.

RGZ states that, despite the criticism of individuals who try to dispute its success, the international professional community recognizes and values ​​the successes of this institute. Standards and methodologies applied by RGZ, both through projects such as “Improving land administration in Serbia”, and through other activities, they comply with the highest global standards. These efforts were also recognized by the World Bank, which cooperates with the Government of the Republic of Serbia on the improvement of land administration.

During the conference, the RGZ delegation led by Darko Vučetić, assistant director of the Development and Innovation Sector, and Ivana Štrbac, head of the Real Estate Valuation and Management Department, presented the results of the Institute’s work, which aroused great interest among experts. They particularly emphasized the success in applying IAAO standards, which contributes to transparency and better conditions on the real estate market in Serbia.

In addition, the IAAO decided to open the regional branch for Southeast Europe, whose headquarters will be in Serbiawhich once again confirmed the status of our country as a leader in this field.
