Right now: Greta Thunberg arrested during student occupation of Copenhagen University

Greta Thunberg has just been arrested in front of the university, where she was demonstrating with Students Against the Occupation, Politiken’s reporter on the scene tells.

The pro-Palestinian movement Students Against the Occupation occupied the museum building at the University of Copenhagen on Wednesday morning. At the same time, a demonstration has broken out in front of the synagogue on Krystalgade, where military personnel are also present. In front of the synagogue, some of the demonstrators who were sitting on the steps in front of the synagogue have been arrested. While they were being driven away, their co-demonstrator shouted “You’re not alone”.
