Los Angeles artist Alex Israel created a new design
limited edition Rimowa Original suitcases in colors evoking an LA sunset
His signature creation of interlacing colors has been transferred to aluminum using innovative polygraphic techniques. This unique collaboration gave rise to a unique collection of suitcases in two designs with a rainbow of bright colors.
Coordinated down to the last detail
The original design is complemented by tonal matching wheels, leather travel tags with a colorful profile of the artist and an exclusive set of luggage stickers with illustrations of iconic LA locations and works by Alex Israel. The interior of the trunk is decorated with a black lining with monograms.
“When designing the suitcases, I asked myself a simple question: How would I want the suitcase I would carry at the airport in Los Angeles to look? I fly a lot and the sky over LA is what I love to look at.”
