The National Institute of Hydrology and Water Management has issued a code yellow hydrological warning, valid from Wednesday, 1:00 p.m., until Thursday, at 10:00 a.m.

In this interval, rivers from the following hydrographic basins will be affected: Vişeu, Iza, Someş, Crişul Alb, Mureş, Bega, Timiş, Siret and Prut, in the counties: Maramureş, Bistriţa Năsăud, Bihor, Cluj, Hunedoara, Arad, Alba, Sibiu, Caraş – Severin, Timiş, Suceava, Harghita, Neamţ, Bacău, Botoşani and Iasi.
The Hydrological Warning mainly concerns the phenomena of important leaks on slopes, torrents and streams, rapid floods on small rivers, with possible local flooding effects, which can occur with greater probability and intensity on some small rivers in the counties: Maramureş, Arad, Suceava and Botosani.
