RMC BFM launches its 100% digital channel BFM2

With the ambition of offering “twice as much information”, the RMC BFM group officially launched, at the start of the week, the BFM2 channel, entirely available on digital.

BFM invests in digital! As announced during the publication of its 2025 General Terms and Conditions, the audiovisual group RMC BFM formalized, Monday September 30, the launch of BFM2, its entirely digital channel dedicated to politics, international, culture, science and even to sport. This will allow Internet users to follow live events in addition to those already offered, linearly, on BFMTV.

“The two channels are complementary. Because information has never been so rich, BFMTV has chosen to give you even more. So, when BFMTV follows an event live, BFM2 simultaneously offers you the opportunity to follow one different two channels to follow even more events and all the news.indicates the group in a press release.

In addition to giving priority to the long term (debates, meetings, speeches, etc.), this new channel will also offer a selection of videos from the digital editorial staff of BFMTV.com as well as filmed podcasts. We’re going to try lots of things on this channel. We’re going to try some new things“, confides Julien Mielcarek, deputy director of digital information for the RMC BFM group, on the airwaves of Franceinfo.

A new advertising format

BFM2 is already available on the BFMTV site and app, boxes (on SFR channel 92, on Free channel 61 and soon on Bouygues channel 243) and connected televisions (Samsung TV+, Molotov and TCL). With regard to advertising offers, BFM2 notably introduced, from its launch, the “L Shape” format which allows advertisers to broadcast advertisements on one side of the screen without interrupting the main video content, “thus providing a smooth user experience”as RMC BFM Ads specifies in its General Terms and Conditions.
