Roborock launches miniature washer-dryer, ideal for apartments

After a few years of hiatus, and a return that we thought was uncertain, CES 2025 finally responded this year. In Las Vegas, all tech enthusiasts gathered to glimpse the future of technologies that will soon enrich our daily lives. Innovative televisions and screens were, as has become the norm, at the heart of the living room, notably with an immersive screen from Brelyon, and a transparent panel from LG. Gaming was not left out, since the equipment manufacturer Genki despite itself leaked the design of the next Nintendo console, presenting accessories that were a little too realistic for the public’s taste.

But what makes CES stand out every year are the original innovations, the gadgets that we didn’t expect, and which attract the crowds to the corridors of the show. No solar hat or vacuum cleaner capable of picking up socks this time, but a promising piece of household appliances from Roborock. In Las Vegas, the star brand of vacuum robots presented its new range of Zeo washing machines.

Zeo Mini, the XXS washing machine

If the Zeo One and Zeo Lite have attracted the attention of the public, it is the latest model, soberly called Zeo Mini, that we are interested in today. The latter has the advantage, in addition to offering what is expected of a classic washer-dryer, of accusing a minimal space requirementideal for people alone or in an apartment, who would have neither the space nor the usefulness of a traditional washing machine.

With its futuristic design, the Zeo Mini from Roborock offers a 1 kg washing capacity for 600 g of drying. It’s not much, barely enough to wash a complete outfit, or do extra laundry, but we have to admit that if you don’t have the whole family’s laundry to manage, it’s more than enough, at least as a backup solution. Because this is where the machine stands out: small format also means shorter washing cycles, which will ensure you save time on a daily basis.

Smart drying

The entire Zeo range is not only distinguished by its mini format. The Zeo One, Zeo Lite and Zeo Mini benefit from the exclusive Zeo-cycle low temperature drying technologycapable of capturing moisture from your clothes without resorting to excessive heat. The promise of more respectful drying, which will avoid unpleasant surprises on arrival? While waiting to see it in action, the device also promises specific support for each type of textile.

See you very soon

For the moment, Roborock has not announced any prices for its Zeo range. However, we can expect to have to pay several hundred euros to hope to afford the device. The Zeo One, Zeo Lite and Zeo Mini are expected to launch in Europe before the end of first half of 2025.
