The smartphone has exclusive gaming AI functions, a top Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with advanced cooling and, in the Pro version, 648 programmable mini-LEDs.
The Republic of Gamers (ROG) company presented a new generation of high-performance smartphones designed primarily for gamers with the designation ROG Phone 9. Of course, their capabilities will also be used by multimedia content creators and everyone who wants to have a design smartphone with high performance.
The ROG Phone 9 series includes the ROG Phone 9 and ROG Phone 9 Pro models. Both phones come with a futuristic design with a matte textured finish that not only looks luxurious but is also fingerprint resistant.
A unique element of the series is the AniMe Vision mini-LED display, which is on the back of both models. The ROG Phone 9 Pro even has 648 programmable mini-LEDs that can display animations that respond to phone usage. In addition, the appearance of the display can also be customized using the AniMe Play application.
Since this smartphone is primarily intended for gamers, it also offers some special features for them with the use of artificial intelligence (AI):
- X Sense 3.0: Uses AI to enhance the gaming experience by automatically recognizing important moments and guiding the player during gameplay.
- X Capture 2.0: Automatically records exceptional game moments such as victories, team fights or special item gains.
- AI Noise Cancelation: Ensures crystal clear communication by eliminating unwanted noise, which is crucial for team games.
Performance without compromise
ROG Phone 9 gaming phones are powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which is made with 3-nanometer technology. This processor provides unprecedented performance and fluidity while playing even the most demanding games. Together with the powerful Oryon CPU, Adreno graphics chip and Hexagon neuron unit, ROG Phone 9 takes gaming almost to the level of a game console.
The specialty of this model is also the unique cooling, which is important during high loads. The innovative ROG GameCool 9 cooling system is used for this, which combines a 360-degree SoC cooling system and an external AeroActive Cooler X Pro cooler.
The gaming experience is enhanced by a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 185 Hz, which offers not only fluidity, but also energy saving. The phone is also equipped with a high-quality sound system and an original case with Audio Redirect technology. For even greater realism, the AeroActive Cooler X Pro external cooler also has a subwoofer built in.
Since it is a gaming smartphone, the engineers tried to bring its controls as close as possible to handheld gaming consoles. That is why it is equipped with AirTrigger touch buttons, which allow the use of a wide range of gestures, including functions such as Dual Action or Gyroscope Aiming. The AeroActive Cooler X Pro external cooler adds two more physical buttons for even better control.

ROG Phone 9 gaming smartphones will be available in Slovakia in three versions from December:
- ROG Phone 9: from 1,129 euros
- ROG Phone 9 Pro: from 1,319 euros
- ROG Phone 9 Pro Edition: from 1,519 euros
