Rolling Stone magazine’s list of the 250 best albums of the 21st century now includes QOTSA, Deftones, Mastodon, System of a Down

Rolling Stone has just published his list 250 best albums of the 21st century so farand that is certainly something interesting. The list includes some choices like Queens Of The Stone Age, Converge, Mastodon, System Of A Down i Deftonesbut mostly stays away from heavier music.

Rolling Stone also emphasizes that when compiling the list of 250 albums, they tried to show as wide a spectrum as possible of contemporary music. Therefore, when given the choice between listing multiple albums by a single artist and making room for an album that adds something important or interesting to the list, they almost always chose the latter option. However, in practice they added more albums by artists such as Beyoncé, Kanye West, Radiohead i The White Stripesand probably some more.

Anyway, here are some rock and metal choices that are Rolling Stone turned on. You can see the complete list here.
