“Surprising and in constant reinvention, contemporary jewelry is reborn with each generation of artists, designers and creators concerned with this ancestral discipline, which nevertheless rejuvenates every year. The cultural perspective of jewelry is becoming more and more attractive and challenging. The public interested in this direction is getting bigger and bigger, and the privilege that jewelry as an art form offers us, that of being able to wear the works of artists and thus become ambassadors of creators and their ideas, is more exciting and more appreciated than ever. I believe that contemporary jewelry will continue to surprise and prove its creative vitality. New materials, new technologies, new ideas will await you at ROJW, and the ROJW 2020-2024 anniversary catalog will certainly confirm the vastness and beauty of this field.”, David SanduFounder and Curator of Romanian Jewelry Week.
On the occasion of this anniversary edition, the ROJW 2020-2024 catalog will also be launched, a collection that includes the most impressive and representative works of the last five years, reflecting the evolution and diversity of contemporary jewelry presented at Romanian Jewelry Week. By holding collateral events, conferences and special exhibitions, Romanian Jewelry Week will create moments of cultural exchange that will project a fascinating and accessible image of jewelry on visitors’ faces.
