Romanian success at the International Mathematics Olympiad


The Ministry of Education announced on Saturday that Romanian students won a gold medal, four silver medals and a bronze medal at the International Mathematics Olympiad.

“Romania won a gold medal, four silver medals and a bronze medal at the International Mathematics Olympiad! Between July 11-22, 2024, the 65th International Mathematical Olympiad took place, organized in Bath, Great Britain”, states the Ministry of Education.

The results obtained by the six students from our team are:

– Gold medal: Pavel Ciurea from the Bucharest International Informatics High School

– Silver medals: Andrei Vila, David-Andrei Anghel, Vlad-Titus Spǎtaru from the International High School of Informatics Bucharest and Andrei-Giovani Chiriţă from the National College of Informatics “Tudor Vianu” Bucharest –

Bronze medal: Aida Mitroi from the Bucharest International Informatics High School
