“Romanians should vote without manipulation”

George Simion, the AUR candidate for the presidential elections, said on Sunday, present with his wife at a polling station, that he urges Romanians to go to the polls and decide without manipulation.

“I want to encourage Romanians to vote. It is important. I am very, very happy that we are able to restore hope to Romanians and the thought of a better future. The vote in Rome was extremely well organized. I congratulate those who took care of the sections in the diaspora. I congratulate those who dealt with the complaints from the diaspora. Unfortunately, some frauds have been found and I would like these frauds to be resolved today, that you cannot have pre-stamped ballots and people who enter the voting booth two at a time. I have seen this in several sections in Romania, in the countryside.

What world do we live in? In the world of barons? In the world of mayors who give them the president? Let’s let the Romanians decide, without manipulation, without falsified polls, to elect one candidate without a chance or another”, said George Simion.

“I don’t think it’s normal to make an estimate, I don’t know if I’m not violating the electoral legislation, I just want to urge the Romanians to vote, to urge the young people to vote because the future is theirs and our country Romania is their country, to urge the elderly to go to the vote and know from us that we respect them, that we thank all the elderly for leaving us a debt-free country. We thank our parents and grandparents for working for us, that we think of pensioners with work groups, we think of miners, we think of steel workers, we think of oil workers, we think of military reserves and retirees, teachers, like my wife, who are paid far too little and are discouraged from leaving and abandoning their job. We have no emotion, we ask all Romanians of good faith to vote. To show Romanians in the Diaspora that we respect them and that we do not consider them traitors or unqualified. We appreciate the experience that the Romanians in the diaspora have acquired and we want to lay the foundations of tomorrow’s Romania with them”, concluded the AUR leader.
