“In accordance with Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated June 29, 2019 No. 843, from February 1, 2025, as part of the annual indexation, the fee in the Platon state system will be 3.34 rubles per kilometer. The current fee is 3.05 rubles per kilometer,” the message says.
It notes that by paying fees through Platon, freight carriers ensured that the Federal Road Fund received over 300 billion rubles at the beginning of 2025. Of these, in 2024, thanks to the work of the system, the fund received 52.627 billion rubles.
The money received by the fund made it possible last year to repair more than 485 km of federal roads in 28 regions of Russia, as well as “to ensure the installation of wear layers” on another 384 km of roads, according to the press service of Rosavtodor.
The Platon system was launched in 2015 and is designed to collect tolls from trucks weighing more than 12 tons for travel on federal roads. The fee is collected to compensate for the damage trucks cause to federal public roads. As of January 2025, Platon was used by over 861 thousand cargo carriers and more than 1.9 million vehicles.
