RKN did not record a massive failure. The problems were caused by the fact that “local problems” were observed in certain sections of the network of large operators: damage to the fiber-optic communication cable during construction work and software failure of the equipment, the department claims.
They added that as of 19:30 Moscow time, “the software glitch has been resolved” – telecom operators provide services “in full”, and work to restore the cable continues.
Previously, subscribers of large operators reported technical problems, should from information on the portal Downdetector.su. Users of MTS, Megafon and Beeline also complained about the failures.
The MTS press service did not respond to RB.RU’s request. Megafon reported that problems were observed in the Murmansk region due to a broken communication line.
