Rozina Wossala and Gergely Szirmai tracked down “eternal life” in their new documentaries – technocrat

One of Hungary’s defining scientific program series, MVM Future Talks, is tackling the most exciting questions about the future for the fifth year this year. This year, the series focuses on the drastic extension of human life. In recent months, the two ambassadors of MVM Future Talks, Rozina Wossala and Gergely Szirmai, together with a documentary film crew, researched the secret of long life and the limits of technological development while traveling the world. Films presenting pioneering initiatives in the tech world and health sciences can now be viewed on the mvfuturetalks.hu site.

Rozina Wossala: Healthy decades

Wossala Rozina in his movie focuses on biohacking and the potential for individual lifestyle change. The film sheds light on the methods, diets, lifestyle changes and genetic means that people can use to extend their own lifespan, even to an extreme extent. From state-of-the-art biotechnology laboratories to solutions based on old, well-proven wellness traditions, the documentary takes a look at the options that directly support the extension of life expectancy by decades. Meanwhile, the hospitality industry specialist and media personality talks to world-renowned experts and technological pioneers such as Giulia Enders, Raymond McCauley, Teemu Arina or Joe Cohen, who have fought the wheel of time with their work. In the documentary, Rozina experiences firsthand the price of a long life when she visits one of Hollywood’s well-known biohacker salons, where she takes part in an electromagnetic brain stimulation treatment and also slows down the natural aging process with a special vibroacoustic therapy.

Gergely Szirmai: Superhumans

The other one in a documentary Gergely Szirmai digs into the depths of transhumanism. The focus of the film is on the human-machine relationship, bionic implants, nanorobotics and the realization of cyberpunk worlds. For example, the YouTuber tries out how to control a computer program with thoughts at the HUN-REN Natural Science Research Center. In his film, he also raises technological and ethical questions, including the vulnerability of the private sphere and the limits of human identity.

The well-known critic and traveling reporter talks to experts on the subject, including György Lévay, István Ulbert and Márton Csaba Köllőd, about the technological developments that promise not only the expansion of human physical capabilities, but also a longer life.

The different viewpoints on the two topics will be clashed by domestic experts in the scientific talk show, which is the last element of the season, which, as in previous years, viewers will be able to follow as a live online stream this time on October 11 from 18:00 on mvmfuturetalks.hu.
