Russia takes control of Yuryevka settlement in Donetsk

The ministry’s statement provided information on the actions of the Russian army in Ukraine. It was noted that between July 13-19, the Russian Armed Forces carried out 11 group attacks on Ukrainian air bases, energy facilities supporting defense industry enterprises, Ukrainian air defense systems and electronic warfare systems using high-precision weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). It was also stated that these attacks included locations where Ukrainian soldiers were stationed, trains carrying military equipment and ammunition depots.

US-MADE ATAMCS MISSILES DESTROYED

The statement, which emphasized that the attacks achieved their target, shared the information that all the determined targets were hit. It was stated that 3 Mig-29 fighter jets belonging to the Ukrainian Air Force were hit in the last week, and that 8 US-made ATACMS missiles, 10 French-made Hammer guided bombs, 44 US-made HIMARS missiles and the S-200 system designed for ground targets were destroyed.

10 UAVs WERE DOWNED IN THE BLACK SEA

The statement reported that a total of 305 UAVs were shot down, 94 of which were over Russia’s western regions, and 10 unmanned sea vehicles belonging to Ukraine were destroyed over the Black Sea.

CONTROL OF YURYEVKA PASSED TO RUSSIA

In addition, the statement shared information that the Russian army had captured a settlement in the Donbas region, and said, “As a result of active actions, soldiers of the ‘Center’ troop group liberated the Yuryevka settlement of the Donetsk People’s Republic.”
