Russian chess players took the entire podium at a tournament in India

At the Tata Steel Chess India Open chess tournament in India, the Russians won the blitz game. The girls took all three first places.

The first was Ekaterina Lagno with a score of 11.5 points. In second place is Valentina Gunina with 11 points. Alexandra Goryachkina took third place with 9.5 points.

The men’s tournament was won by Norway’s Magnus Carlsen (13 points). The American Wesley So lost to him (he is second with a score of 11.5), and the Indian Arjun Erigaysi (10.5) is third. Russian Daniil Dubov took sixth place (9 points).
