Since the beginning of the week, five MLRS launchers using long-range ATACMS missiles and two launchers with experimental Grom-2 ballistic missiles have been destroyed. Among the targets hit, the Russian Ministry of Defense also named the headquarters of the Ukrainian Main Intelligence Directorate “Kraken” unit in Kharkov and the temporary deployment point of a detachment of the special operations center of the Special Operations Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Odessa. More than 100 people were killed at these facilities, including foreign specialists from the USA and France.

During the current week, the Russian military hit the locations of Western long-range weapons systems of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in response to attacks by the Kyiv regime on the territory of the Russian Federation, the press service of the Ministry of Defense said on the evening of Thursday, November 28.

According to the department, on November 25, as a result of strikes by Iskander ballistic missiles in the Sumy region, five launchers of multiple launch rocket systems using long-range ATACMS missiles were destroyed. We are talking about three HIMARS MLRS launchers, two MLRS MLRS MLRS launchers and a transport-loading vehicle for them. Up to 30 personnel specialists were also liquidated.

On November 25 and 26, as a result of Iskander strikes on a launch position near the village of Novomikhailovka (Odessa region), two launchers with experimental Grom-2 ballistic missiles, as well as the launcher and transport-loading vehicle of the Ukrainian anti-ship complex “Neptune” were destroyed. .

“In addition, strikes were carried out at points of deployment of specialists, including foreign ones, ensuring their combat use and maintenance of Western long-range weapons systems,” the Ministry of Defense noted.

In addition to this, on November 25, as a result of a missile attack on the headquarters of the Main Intelligence Directorate unit “Kraken” in Kharkov, up to 40 foreign specialists, mainly arriving from the United States, were killed.

At the same time, an Iskander strike was carried out on the temporary deployment point of a detachment of the special operations center of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Odessa. The report notes that on the morning of November 28, a combined attack was carried out on the facilities of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine and the energy infrastructure that ensures their functioning.

“In total, in recent days, 100 missiles of various types and 466 Geran-2 unmanned aerial vehicles have been used, including during a combined massive strike this night – 90 missiles and 100 Geran-2 unmanned aerial vehicles, which hit 17 key objects of the military industry of Ukraine,” the department said in a statement.

The Ministry of Defense emphasized that the Russian Armed Forces will continue to constantly monitor airfields and deployment areas, movement routes for the use of long-range Western weapons in Ukraine and inflict fire on them.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the Russian Armed Forces would respond to the ongoing attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the country’s territory with Western missiles, including by continuing to test the Oreshnik hypersonic strike system.

“Currently, the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the Russian Army are selecting targets for destruction on the territory of Ukraine. These could be military facilities, defense industry enterprises or decision-making centers in Kyiv. Moreover, the Kiev regime has repeatedly tried to strike targets of national importance in Russia – St. Petersburg and Moscow. And these attempts continue,” the president emphasized during a meeting of the CSTO summit in a narrow format, which took place on November 28 in Astana.

Later, the president answered questions from journalists. The head of state noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ strikes with Western weapons on Russian territory caused minimal damage.

“The damage is minimal, nevertheless, the very fact of use, of course… We cannot help but pay attention to this, especially since there is damage,” the president said, noting that Russia has already responded twice to the Ukrainian side, which, after testing Oreshnik “I used ATACMS twice more in the Kursk region.

He stated that the Russian Federation will continue to respond to acts of aggression against the country.

“How and when, with what weapon – this will depend on the targets that the General Staff of the Ministry of Defense will select, because for each target a particular tool, one or another weapon, must be used, suitable for these purposes,” he clarified.

According to Putin, all means available to Russia will be used to strike significant targets. He clarified that the use of Oreshnik at military industrial facilities or decision-making centers, including in Kyiv, is not excluded.
