Russian state television threatens to attack Romania

Rossiya 1, the Russian state television station, broadcast a segment in which it threatened to attack Bucharest and other European capitals, Sunday evening, at prime time, writes B1Tv, which quotes The Moscow Times.

“Almost all European capitals will be under threat if our missiles are stationed in Kaliningrad: Berlin, Warsaw, all the Baltic states, Paris, Bucharest, Prague and, of course, the American bases in Germany,” said Evgheni Popov, TV presenter and Russian MP , during sequences distributed online by the independent publication Agentstvo.

The broadcaster also showed a map of potential targets in Europe. The sequences were meant to be a response to the announcement made by the White House on the sidelines of the NATO Summit in Washington, when the American side said it would periodically station long-range weapons starting in 2026 as a form of deterrence.

“Special attention to Great Britain, our traditional enemy… Great Britain is in the most vulnerable position – basically, three missiles are enough and this civilization will collapse,” claims Evgheni Popov.
