A new magnetic storm will hit the Earth in the coming days
Scientists have promised a new unpleasant surprise for weather-dependent people. A powerful magnetic storm is expected on Earth in the coming days. This is reported on website Laboratory of Solar Astronomy of the Space Research Institute (IKI) of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics (ISTP) of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
According to experts’ calculations, the probability of a magnetic storm on November 28 is 40%, and a magnetic storm – 5%. Scientists predicted a G1 storm at approximately 00:00 on Friday, November 29. At the same time, towards evening it will intensify to the middle class (G2).
Let us recall that on November 10, a strong solar flare close to class X was recorded.
