According to information published by the press service of the State Border Guard of Ukraine, Ukrainian border guards with drone strikes they destroyed the Russian flags displayed on Friday.
The flags were raised just a day earlier by a more prestigious Russian force after the launched an attack against Ukraine in the Chernihiv region, at the former bridge over the Sudost River.
The press service also reported that thethe Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group (DRG) left the area before the flags were destroyed, thus avoiding further confrontation.
This is another failed attempt by the enemy to project his victories – nothing more than a psychological trick of no military significance
– wrote the press service. Earlier, Ukraine used similar “psychological tricks” against Russia, all along the border.
Earlier, there were speculations that Moscow might even deploy larger forces in the region to share Ukrainian defense. There is no evidence that the invading Russian forces have actually left Ukrainian territory.
