Ryzen 9 9950X3D launches in January 2025

AMD will launch its new processors in the Ryzen 9000X3D series at the end of January 2025: the 9900X3D with 12 cores and the flagship 9950X3D with 16 cores. At least that’s according to Hoan Anh Phu, a well-known hardware leaker who once again looked into his fortune telling and has a good enough reputation for the information to be taken seriously by sources like Videocardz and Wccf Tech.

No new information about clock frequency and TDP value has been added, but Hoang dismisses that the processors will have 3D V-Cache on both CCD circuits, which earlier rumors speculated about.

We previously reported that AMD plans to show off the 9000X3D processors during the CES 2025 electronics show, which starts on January 7. In light of Hoan Anh Phu’s information, it is now a low-odds guess that we will know more early next year.
