Sainc won the race for the Mexican Grand Prix

Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz won tonight’s Formula 1 race for the Mexican Grand Prix.

Sainz started from pole position, lost the lead at the start, but managed to regain first place with safe driving and achieve the fourth victory of his career.

Second place was taken by McLaren driver Lando Norris, and third was Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc.

Mercedes driver seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton took fourth place, his teammate George Russell was fifth, and reigning champion Max Verstappen of Red Bull was sixth.

Has driver Kevin Magnusen took seventh place, eighth was Oskar Pjastri from McLaren, ninth place was taken by Niko Hulkenberg from Has, and 10th place went to Pierre Gasli from Alpino.

In the fight for the title, Norris reduced the gap to Verstappen to 47 points, four races before the end of the championship.

The next race is on November 3 for the Brazilian Grand Prix in Sao Paulo.
