Compared to September last year, sales of electrified models rose 47.9% in China, which helped boost global sales. For example, sales increased by 4.3% in North America to 150,000 units, while in Europe they increased by 4.2% to 300,000 units.

The two consecutive months of substantial sales in China helped boost global sales of electrified cars for the first nine months of the year to 11.5 million, up 22% from the same period in 2022. In China alone, up to now 7.2 million units, 35% more compared to 2023.
