Samsung Changwon Hospital (Director Koh Kwang-cheol) received a first-class rating in the anesthesia and intensive care unit adequacy evaluation by the Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service. In particular, it has received a first-class rating in the anesthesia adequacy evaluation for three consecutive times, including this evaluation.
In order to establish a safety management foundation for anesthesia patients and improve quality, the Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service conducted the first anesthesia adequacy evaluation in 2018 and the third evaluation this year. The assessment of the adequacy of intensive care units was conducted based on the treatment of adult patients who were hospitalized in intensive care units for more than 48 hours from January to March of last year.
