Samsung Electronics is targeting the hotel TV market with ‘The Frame’, which has established itself as the world’s first ‘art TV’.
The Frame (model name: HL03F) is characterized by applying key features and design to suit the hotel usage environment. It boasts an ‘art mode’ that shows works of art such as paintings and photos even when the power is off, a frame-type bezel that harmonizes with any installation space, and a slim-fit wall-mounted design. Hotel managers can use art mode to customize the atmosphere of the space they stay in.
To provide a more convenient stay environment, Samsung Electronics supports wireless content sharing technologies ‘Google Cast’ and ‘Apple AirPlay’ on all 2025 hotel TV models. Through this, hotel guests can continuously enjoy content from their smartphone or tablet on the TV screen through the QR code on the room TV screen. It is convenient because it does not require a separate dongle or login process, and when checking out of a room, information on connected devices is automatically deleted to protect personal information.
In addition, Samsung Electronics has improved operational efficiency by integrating the hotel TV operating system into Tizen 9.0 in 2025. We provide customized solutions for integrated device management, including ‘LYNK Cloud’, an integrated solution exclusively for hotel TVs, and ‘SmartThings Pro’, an integrated connection platform for B2B.
“Hotel TVs in 2025 will contribute to providing a differentiated stay experience with a more advanced customized experience,” said Hoon Jeong, Vice President of Samsung Electronics’ Visual Display Business Division. “We will continue to expand globally with differentiated products and solutions, including the newly introduced The Frame for hotel TVs.” “We will lead the hotel TV market,” he said.
