Samsung Galaxy A56: The first of the A series that will support 45W charging speed

OR Samsung does not follow the trend of ultra-fast charging speeds and for several years has equipped only a few of its top models with 45W charging capabilities, while the majority of Galaxy of devices has 25W charging.

However, this year things are changing since the Galaxy M55/C55/F55 midranger came with 45W and now it’s time for the Galaxy A series. First in line is the Galaxy A56which was certified in China with support for 45W charging.

The phone is under development and is highly unlikely to arrive before March 2025. However, we already know that the Samsung Galaxy A56 will have an improved selfie camera keeping the same 50MP main + 12MP ultra-wide + 5MP macro combo as his predecessor.

Samsung’s best-selling midranger will have a new Exynos 1580 chipset. The SoC was recently introduced with a triple-cluster CPU (1×2.91 GHz Cortex-A720 + 3×2.6 GHz Cortex-A720 + 4×1. 95 GHz Cortex-A520) and a new GPU based on AMD RDNA Architecture 3. The Galaxy A56 will also ship with Android 15 out of the box and have an 8GB RAM option.
